Looking forward, the next round of renovations includes the window coverings in all units. We have presented several options for the Board to consider and it appears they are moving toward replacing the current vertical blinds with the wood faux horizontal blinds that are currently installed as a sample in Unit 22E. I think we all can agree that replacing the delicate vertical blinds, which are easily damaged when the windows and doors are open, makes sense. Installation will take place during the Maintenance Weeks in January 2019.

Visitors are enjoying our planned food events, which provide an opportunity to socialize with other Guests; the waffle breakfast, root beer floats, popcorn night, and now the return of wine and cheese. We are seeing more attractions popping up in the area and we pass them on to you when you visit.

I am happy to report that efforts to improve your Wi-Fi experience at the resort have been successful. The change in service provider, switching to wireless and increasing the bandwidth has allowed us to meet the demand of numerous devices.

Next year’s reservation lottery is almost here and we are looking forward to another successful process. A Reservations Committee met several times to share ideas on how to improve the lottery experience and I believe many good ideas were presented, which the Board of Directors and the Grand Pacific team are working to implement.
