Panorama Mountain Horseback Riding: The Panorama area and surrounding Purcell Wilderness Conservancy are ideal for people to explore via horseback. Horseback riding in the wide open wilderness is one of the most relaxing and rewarding experiences for visitors. Endless trails are available with varying levels of length and difficulty. You can go for a scheduled one hour trail ride, venture long distance in through the Conservancy, or even schedule horseback camping trips and live like a real Canadian cowboy.
Panorama Village Trail Rides: Take a one hour trail ride with spectacular views and multiple wildlife sightings. Kids ages 3-7 can ride a pony while adults ages 8 and up can head out on the trail by horseback.
Hours of Operation:
- Toby Creek Trail Rides offers one hour trail rides every day except for Tuesdays at 9a, 10:30a, 12Noon, 1:30p, and 3p.
- Cost: 1 hour trail ride cost $40
- Pony rides cost $10 per person
- Location: The stables are located across the road from the Adventure Centre in Lower Village in Panorama. Waivers must be signed for everyone and parents must be present for kids age 18 and under.
