Grand Pacific Resorts Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates
We have had the pleasure of creating experiences worth sharing at our resorts for tens of thousands of families over the years, making vacations an affordable and routine part of life. While our world is experiencing challenging times, sunnier days are ahead and we look forward to many more vacations to come.

As the situation continues to unfold, please come to this page to find updates on the status of our resorts, and any other pertinent Coronavirus (COVID-19) information including steps to ensure the well-being of our Associates, Owners, and Guests when we reopen our doors.

Moving Forward
As we think to the future and the roadmap for re-opening resorts our efforts are focused on:

    • Enhanced cleaning procedures during your stay and between check-in/out;
    • Reviewing Activities and Common Areas with a focus on wellness;
    • Monitoring and verification programs to ensure enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols;
    • Staff training on prevention and care measures for a safe and healthy environment

Owners
We have increased updates from your resort via email, on the website, and on social media. Stay connected to your resort and fellow owners via your resort’s Facebook page. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about sister resorts by flipping through the digital magazine Discover Your Family of Resorts.

Guests
Book with Confidence. Cancellations or modifications are accepted up to 7 days prior to your check in date, by 4:00PM local hotel time, without penalty.

Contact Center
We ask that you please reserve our phone lines and online chat for travel through May, and remain patient in the response time. As of today, the contact center hours are Monday through Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm pacific. (888) 477-6967

In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, drastic measures are being taken to protect our island residents, especially those that are most vulnerable, as well as protecting our visitors. With this in mind, we are taking steps to temporary limit tourism and are currently urging those owners and guests currently staying at Hanalei Bay Resort to make flight arrangements to return home before the mandatory quarantine takes affect on Thursday, March 26, 2020.

Our team members spray and wipe down all “high-touch” public areas with disinfectant/sanitizer at scheduled hourly intervals.

The resort will remain open and operating as normally as possible, though the Fitness Center, Concierge Desk, Ukulele Bar and Happy Talk are closed until further notice.

If you have a reservation between May 31 and June 10:

  • If you are an HGV Club Member, we will automatically cancel your reservation. There will be no cancellation penalties and we will refund any applicable booking fee within 3 business days. To make a new reservation, visit the Club website today. Through May 31, we've eliminated fees when booking a 2020 or 2021 vacation online. (Club booking windows apply.)
  • If you are a hotel guest and booked via Hilton.com, your reservation with Hilton will automatically be cancelled. To make a new reservation, please visit Hilton.com or call 1-800-HILTONS (1-800-445-8667).
  • If you made your reservation through a third party, such as Expedia, or a timeshare exchange, you will need to contact your booking provider directly for any changes or cancellations.
  • If you are an HGV Package Holder, please reach out to us by calling 800-482-0047 (9 a.m. – 9 p.m. ET, seven days a week) or emailing customerservice@hgv.com for assistance with rebooking your vacation.
