The final phase of the resort-wide trellis replacement project was completed in February. All of the woodwork in the staircases, the overhead beams around the property and our wedding ceremony trellis have been replaced and repainted.

Another major project that has been completed this year is the replacement of the pebble flex floor at the Splash Zone. It is wonderful to see the bright, vibrant surface being enjoyed by so many children.

In June, the third and final phase of the partial interior unit improvements were completed in Villa D, which included new bedding, headboards, nightstands, TV hutches, dining room tables and chairs, coffee and side tables, and updated patio furniture. Paint and new carpeting have added a fresh new look to the units as well. 100% of the resort’s units have now been updated!

Building a healthy Reserve Fund continues to be one of our main goals for the Association. Over the years to come, we will complete the remodel of the Fitness Center, the Activities Center, and the Club Room, and replace all upholstered furniture and king mattresses in all units. Also, there will be a five-year schedule to replace all fan coil units and exhaust fans throughout the Resort, as well as additional infrastructure repairs that will keep Palisades well maintained.
