Reserve Dollars at Work

We continued with Phase 5 of the renovations with a brand new construction team, Pinnacle, under the leadership of Leo Grover. This project finished the six remaining units in the Carson building, as well as two additional townhouses in Baldwin. We are working feverishly on the plan to complete the final phase of the renovation in 2016! Yes – the time has finally arrived!

In the spring, we completed an asphalt and slurry seal of the parking lot and resurface of the tennis court.

July through October included a surprise gas line leak that left the resort without hot water for several days. The staff all pulled together to keep the resort running as smoothly as possible during this time, which happened the 1st week in August with a house full of Owners and guests. Kudos to our great Team!

As October eased into November and the end of the year, we began our fall projects. These include installing 48” Samsung LED televisions with articulating wall mounts in the living rooms, our annual preventative maintenance and deep clean of the units, and preparing for winter.

During this time each room gets a top-to-bottom overhaul by our hardworking maintenance crew who take care of those little items that build up over the summer months. Then it’s housekeeping’s turn to conduct a thorough cleaning, which includes carpet and upholstery shampooing, and even looking behind the fridge. Our winter prep begins with cold weather fertilization using eco-friendly products, and checking, repairing, or replacing snow abatement tools and equipment.
