Teaming Up For Charity: Over $34,000 Raised For the 38th Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk
Grand Pacific Resorts is proud to have been a part of the 38th Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk, held in May on the beautiful island of Kauai. The Charity Walk, sponsored by the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association, is an annual tradition that brings people together throughout the Hawaiian islands to help raise money for local charities. This year, Lillian Watari, Guest Services Manager at Hanalei Bay Resort, rallied support across Hanalei Bay Resort and Makai Club Resort, and the team raised over $34,000! Congratulations to Lillian and all of those who helped make this event a success.
Family Fun-Fundraiser Supporting Christel House International
Grand Pacific Resorts, a longtime supporter of Christel House International, hosts a golf tournament every year where they raise over $50,000 to help give children in need the education and tools to create a bright future for themselves, their families and their communities . This year they showed two Christel House interns what corporate social responsibility is all about. Help Grand Pacific Resorts #DriveOutPoverty by joining them for the Christel House Open Golf Tournament on June 11, 2018 at Shadowridge Country Club.
Breast Cancer Survivor Takes the Reins
Renee, a breast cancer survivor and adoptive mother, enjoyed a vacation in Carlsbad, California, earlier this year courtesy of Send Me On Vacation (SMOV) and Grand Pacific Resorts. Grand Pacific Resorts was so moved by Renee’s story, they invited her and SMOV to spend a day with the four-legged healers at Hunkapi Programs, a therapeutic horseback riding program in Scottsdale, Arizona.
