Channel Island Shores
The Shore Line September 2016

Hello Channel Island Shores Owners,

We are excited to offer our Owners new activities just in time for fall. A new Grand Pacific Exchange (GPX) weekly class has been added to the resort’s activity schedule. This class focuses on Owners that would like to become more knowledgeable about how to utilize their timeshare week through Grand Pacific Resorts. Overall participation in activities also increased by 50% this past summer! The Italian Soda Bar, Photo Fun, Tea Time Social, and the Wine and Cheese Social have been the most popular. We also continue to replenish our treasure box with prizes to create excitement and entice participants to join us!

Loft conversions for the last four Santa Rosa units were completed this year. This conversion was the final phase and provides two private bedrooms in all our Santa Rosa units. New living room sofas/loveseats and new window treatments were also completed early this year. Additionally, our maintenance team installed knobs on all kitchen cabinets throughout the resort.  These additional details help enhance our beautiful renovated kitchens and extend the life of the cabinets.  Special thanks to Owners John and Marcia Zeliff who generously donated the knobs.

The maintenance team recently installed safety bathroom bars in 16 units throughout the resort.  The stainless steel bars provide an added amenity to our amazing resort. New Bissell green vacuums were also purchased and placed in each unit. These vacuums are lighter weight and have extra-long cords for easier use. In keeping with our dedication to “Going Green,” two additional recycle bins were also installed in May.

The entire resort team completed the GPR BE EPIC engagement training early this year. We are excited to continue to learn about GPR’s service culture and how to ensure our Owners and Guests leave us with memories worth sharing. The team also received BE EPIC tee-shirts along with new ideas on how to surprise and delight you, our Owners.

It is great pride and also sadness that we say goodbye to Tina Kalberg, our Front Office Manager, who accepted a promotion at RiverPointe Napa Valley Resort where she will be Assistant General Manager. Tina has been with Channel Island Shores for nine years and has contributed to the wonderful memories our Owners have experienced during their stays.  We wish her luck in her new endeavor.

The Sales Legacy Group continues to market and sell our units! Share the joy of Channel Island Shores vacations with family and friends and you could be eligible for a $300 referral fee ($300 will be applied to your HOA dues account) after close of escrow! Refer your friends and family to our sales department by contacting Paul Hancock at 866-574-4964.

Warm Regards,
Jennifer Brown
General Manager
