Hello Channel Island Shores Owners! 

As the seasons change, SoCal still keeps its paradise-like appeal. From perfect temperatures to glowing sunsets we have our Owners on our mind as we begin exciting resort upgrades and find new fun and exciting ways to connect with you.
 
We Love Meeting Our Owners!
Our annual meeting in October was once again a huge success! Over 45 Owners and Guests joined in on the festivities.The Owners Expo included representatives from RCI, GPX and GPVS on site to answer any questions and provide personal assistance. Live music and a lunch buffet were served during the event. Owners continue to give positive feedback regarding the food, entertainment and presentations during the celebration. We hope to see more of you joining us for this annual celebration! The Channel Island Shores team was thrilled with the turnout and we look forward to enjoying many more positive meetings in the coming years.
 
Enriching Your Ownership
New kitchen items were installed in each unit this year. Electric tea kettles were purchased to provide a safe alternative to the previous stove top tea kettles. Owners and guests are enjoying the slip-resistant grip, drip-free pouring and auto shut-off feature. They are also energy efficient and heat water quickly, which helps us in our continued efforts to Going Green. New Grand Pacific Resorts standard ice buckets and tongs were also purchased and installed in every unit. These extra amenities are part of our continued dedication to ensure we exceed our Owners' expectations during their vacation week.
 
The maintenance team has been diligently working on projects throughout the resort.

New phones were installed in each kitchen. These phones were donated to the resort by our sister resort, San Clemente Cove, last year and we are finally able to put them to good use. The phones provide dialing instructions along with resort information to assists Owners and Guests. Features including voicemail and one-button connections will be accessible in the future once a new resort phone system has been installed.

The outdoor wood surfaces of the resort is getting a new look! All staircases and decks are getting a new coat of paint. A warm deep brown was chosen to minimize scuff marks and to enhance our resort grounds. These upgrades are small but make a big impact in enhancing our wonderful resort.
 
New Texting Service is Here!
A new communication platform is now available for all Owners and guests during their stay. Zingle is a text messaging app that enables the resort and guests to communicate with each other through text messaging. The Front Desk is now able to respond quickly to guest requests via text. We also anticipate higher activity participation with the ability to send activity reminders to all in-house Owners and guests.

The hashtag #MyChannelIslands was created to promote the resort showcasing Owners and guests having fun during their vacation. We hope you’ll use the hashtag when posting your vacation memories on Facebook and Instagram.
