With the successes of 2017 – from upgrades and flawless upkeep, to the
numerous BE EPIC moments from our associates and a successful 25th
Anniversary celebration – we look forward to what 2018 will bring!

Mission Accomplished 2017... Hello 2018!
The Coronado Beach Resort team had a strong finish to 2017. We
completed Maintenance Weeks in December where all rooms were deep
cleaned, touched up, and painted.
 The
team worked hard to get all rooms in the best possible condition to
start the New Year and we’re proud that all the rooms look truly
amazing. In addition, during Maintenance Weeks 10 unit windows were
repaired to eliminate any rotting wood and ensure a proper seal.
This winter, repairs will be made to the Coronado Beach Resort entryway
from Adella Avenue into the resort parking garage. The City of Coronado
has required that the pedestrian ramp be re-graded to meet current ADA
requirements. As a result, the ramp will be widened and re-graded to
ensure less of an incline and the railings will be replaced.
We’re also consistently finding new ways to lead the pack in sustainable hospitality practices.
Recently, we replaced all lamp light bulbs in units with LEDs, and we
also replaced all of our garage lighting with LED t8 lamps. As a result
of these retrofits it has helped us save an estimated 46,075 KwH
annually.
We’re look forward to seeing what other green initiatives we can
accomplish in 2018 so we can keep Coronado Beach Resort as beautiful —
and sustainable — as possible.

Movin' On Up
Congratulations to Fernando Perez on his promotion to Housekeeping Supervisor!
Fernando has worked at Coronado Beach Resort as a Maintenance
Technician since 2005 and will now be working alongside Nydia to
supervise our Housekeeping Department.
We can’t wait to see what our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams can accomplish in 2018! |
