We’re Upgrading
Renovation and construction projects are underway, and in the planning stages for 2018, to help maintain the life of this beautiful resort for generations to come.

They include a waterproofing project and upgrades to units in the Oak and Elm buildings.

Please ‘pardon our dust’ this year while we work to improve your home away from home.

Beach Entrances Are Getting a Makeover
The City of Carlsbad is making some improvements to the beach access along the coast, which is great news for us!

The project involves seven beach access points and includes the addition of bike racks, benches, trash receptacles, lighting and crosswalks as well as beautifying the beach access entrances with drought-tolerant landscaping.
 
Work is scheduled to start this winter and is expected to be wrapped up by Memorial Day. Access will be restricted only at the entrance point under construction.

Dates have not been confirmed as to when the ‘Oak’ access, the one that leads to the Carlsbad Inn cabana, will be under construction.

What a milestone – 30 years of service! The Management Team and Associates at Carlsbad Inn had the great pleasure of celebrating Eugene Magbata’s 30th Anniversary last month. That is not a typo – yes, he has been at Carlsbad Inn 30 years!
 
It would be hard to point to any other Associate on the team that has as much of an impact on the Carlsbad Inn service culture and the Owners’ experience. He is by far our most recognizable Associate and guests have had fond memories of their interactions with him throughout the years.
