Latest at the Lodge
We're busy at the lodge sprucing up your home away from home. Maintenance weeks are coming up and we'll be:
- Refinishing all wood surfaces in the units
- Completing interior and exterior painting
- Giving the units extreme deep cleanings
- Working
on the lakefront terrace area, which will be getting a little
face-lift with some new landscaping cloth, sand and rocks
We
also want to let you know that the Waste Line Project is on schedule to
begin April 29 and is slated for completion by June 2. Bids are
finalized and permits will be pulled this month.
Your management
team and the Board of Directors have been involved with every aspect of
the project to ensure it's completed seamlessly.
Associate Spotlight
We'd like to give a shout out to Mari Mejia, who brightens everyone's day here at the lodge.
Mari,
who has been a Housekeeper with us for 11 years, was our BE EPIC
Champion of 2017. It was her second time earning the award and was
definitely well deserved.
Mari assists with training new
Associates, delights folks with her towel origami skills and puts a
smile on everyone's face when she greets them. Many of you know her by
name and personally request her for your unit during your stay.
She
and her husband, Jose, have four children and they just finished
building their dream home (pictured below) in La Piedad, Mexico. Mari
and Jose spend a month in Mexico every year.
Mari is also focusing on learning some new computer skills and is excited to be furthering her education.
Warm Regards,
Erin O'Brien
