What's New at the Lodge
It’s
been a great start to the year so far! The storms in late January
brought a significant amount of snow - 27" over two days! This
helped open almost all the terrain at Squaw, including the famous KT-22
lift.
Marketing hosted a great activity at the lodge called
Snappy Hour, where
Owners who were staying with us had a chance to enjoy some snacks
and talk about your exclusive exchange network, GPX. Did you know you
can travel to thousands of resorts worldwide with GPX? It's worth
taking a look as you plan your 2018 vacations.
On the resort improvements front, we have new spa covers -- and beautiful new furniture in the clubhouse.
Associate Spotlight
We'd
like to give a shout out to Maintenance Technician Giovanny Frutos, who
is our BE EPIC Champion of 2017 and will be traveling to Carlsbad,
California for Grand Pacific Resorts' annual
Best of the Best celebration to honor outstanding associates.
Giovanny
has been with us for two years and was chosen for his exceptional work
ethic, consistency and teamwork. He is always willing to jump in and
help whenever needed and is a great asset to the resort. We are very
happy to have him on the team.
We
also have a new Guest Service Agent, Sylvia Reyes-Koon, on board. She
started in September and you'll find her at the front desk. Sylvia is
already proving herself a valuable employee - she provides excellent
customer service and everyone loves her.
Sylvia recently moved
to the Truckee area full time. She used to visit often from the Bay
area and is ecstatic that she doesn't have to fight the weekend traffic
anymore to spend time in Tahoe.
Warm Regards,
Nick Batliner
