First Quarter Revenue is Strong
We're happy to report that total revenue for Q1 finished at $77,246 ahead of budget and had a combined savings in operations costs of $161,230. Net improvement to budget of $238,595.
Keeping Our Beach Pristine
We want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Klaus Wolf, Owners here at Kauai Beach Villas, for writing us about keeping our beautiful beach fronting Kauai Beach Villas clean and beautiful. Every year when they visit their home away from home, they make an effort to gather and stack marine debris that finds its way onto our beach.
Their dedication and commitment inspired us to reach out to the
Kauai Surfrider Foundation to learn more about how we can do our part as well. We're happy to announce that the foundation has agreed to partner with Kauai Beach Villas to supply us with the tools needed to collect marine debris and dispose of it. We learned that the debris can actually be shipped to Oahu, where it is put in an incinerator and used to generate electricity.
Once a week, we'll be inviting all Owners and guests to participate in beach cleanup. Tools will be provided, courtesy of the Kauai Surfrider Foundation, and we'll have pastries and coffee for refreshment.
A huge thank you to the Wolfs, who were also
recently featured in The Garden Island, for leading by example!
Congratulations Dolly!
Every year, the
Hawai'i Lodging & Tourism Association (HLTA) hosts the Malama Awards to recognize those in the industry who go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for visitors.
This year, Dolly Chang (pictured above at the event) was honored as Housekeeping Supervisor of the Year. It is a great honor to share this special award with her peers on the island, and in our industry.
Thank you, Dolly, for all of your hard work. We appreciate your dedication and outstanding service!
Mahalo,
Clinton Owen
