First of all, thank you to everyone who voted in the Board of Directors election. Actively participating in elections is one of the best ways for you to have a stake in your ownership.
Congratulations to Nancy Baca, Dianne Tersoni and Jack Carter for being elected to the Makai Boards. Also, a big mahalo to Sean Cannard for serving his term on the Makai Cottages Board.
We are now looking ahead to the 2019 election season. We want to remind you that when you receive your proxy in the mail, to take a few minutes to fill it out and send it in.
Your vote matters! Your board, elected by you, works with Grand Pacific Resorts to ensure Makai Club Resort remains a beautiful and inviting home away from home for each of you. You benefit from renovations that are reflective of Kauai (see below), beautiful landscaping and the exceptional service you receive when on property.
A Beautiful New Look
In May's resort update, and at our Annual Homeowners Meeting, we spotlighted the soft goods renovations, which are now complete.
We are receiving wonderful feedback from both Owners and guests who love the warmth of the design, and the colors that reflect Kauai's stunning sunsets and striking blue ocean water.
We have been making improvements outside as well. For example, we have brand new colorful umbrellas for those of you who love to relax poolside while on vacation.
